Problem with DrukNet's Broadband network

Since December 6th, 2011, something has been hampering DrukNet's broadband network. The connection became unreliable where even the lite downloads couldn't be completed. The network breaks down in between.
While there wasn't any official announcement of what caused the network problem, the clients are still complaining to the DrukNet. While international sites completely become inaccessible most often, even the DrukNet's own site, which is hosted locally, can't be reached smoothly. There are certain issues that cause such timed-out errors.
Being an only ISP which provides broadband internet services, I think DrukNet must take this opportunity to be advanced than other ISPs and convince their clients that they can provider best services with all infrastructure in place. Other ISPs are trying hard to gain their market shares being the new comer in this field in Bhutan.
I also think there should be better coordination among various sections of DrukNet. When we try to call 1600, the main toll-free number of DrukNet, the staff say there isn't any problem. If there are some problems related to your system or network connectivity, let those people know on how to answer when some clients ask about the problem. When there are obvious problem with DrukNet, they would just say everything is working fine. That adds another matter at which clients get annoyed with.
To make sure that it is not my local network problem, I called and asked couple of friends who are using the same network service. They have been also experiencing the same problem for last two days.
"It has been more than 2 days now. And it is really irritating with such connection", said a friend.
I hope DrukNet will give an explanation on why their network became unreliable and will strive to prevent such problems by monitoring the performance of the servers. Internet connection is now a necessity in this technologically advanced world and people do not want to be cut-off from the rest of the world, even for a single day.
