I have compiled some latest updates and features on Gmail, Google+ and Google Apps released by Google offically.

1. Video chat with multiple people with Hangouts in Gmail

1:1 Video chat in Gmail has been upgraded and is now powered by Google+ Hangouts. If both sides have created a Google+ profile you will get the full Hangouts experience including the ability to add up to nine other people to the conversation, screen sharing and integrated Google Docs collaboration.

 2. Named & Protected Ranges and Border Styles in Google Spreadsheets

Named & Protected Ranges: Users now have the ability to name a range in a spreadsheet. You can then protect such a named range instead of protecting the whole sheet. You can also use the name of the range in formulas.

Border colors: Users can now pick the color and style of cell borders. This features is accessible as an added option through the cell borders toolbar button.

3. Custom color picker in Google Calendar

Google Calendar users have had the ability to change the colors of specific events or calendars from a default color palette. Users can now choose a custom color if the default palette does not meet their needs.

4. New way to submit feedback about the administrator control panel

Google Apps is changing the way in which we collect your feedback. To provide feedback about the administrator control panel, navigate to the page you'd like to improve and click the 'Send Feedback' link at the bottom.

5. Search Gmail logs in the administrator control panel

What happened to an inbound or outbound message? Was a message sent to my domain and marked as spam? Which users sent or received a specific message? Starting today, domain admins can get answers to these and other such questions using Gmail log search. This feature is now available in the administrator control panel.

6. Native Google Drive app for iOS

A native Google Drive app for iOS devices (iOS 5.0+) is now available for download in the iTunes App Store. This app allows you to open all files stored in your Drive.
