The global domain marketplace
Number of domain names
There are two categories of top-level domain names, or TLDs. Generic TLDs (gTLDs), of which there currently are 22, include the globally popular .COM domain as well as less well-used domains such as .ORG, .NET, .INFO, .BIZ, .MOBI, and a handful of others. Country code TLDs (ccTLDs) use the two-letter code developed by the International Organisation for Standardization (ISO) to specify a TLD for each ISO-recognized country and dependent territory worldwide. For example, Canada's ccTLD is .CA while Australia's is .AU.
By the midpoint of 2011, there were slightly more than 214 million domain names registered globally. Of these, nearly 130 million, or 61 per cent, were gTLDs while slightly fewer than 84 million, or 39 per cent, were ccTLDs.

Original Title: Google Street View is coming to Bhutan, edging the service closer to 50 countries
It’s been quite a 24 hours or so for Google, what with Google Reader getting the axe and Android head Andy Rubin stepping aside. New Zealand PM apologizes to Kim DotCom, case unraveling
New Zealand's Prime Minister issued an apology to MegaUpload founder Kim DotCom after it was determined his government illegally spied on DotCom.
Members of New Zealand's government believed the law gave them the right to spy on MegaUpload founder Kim DotCom because he was a foreign national.
They were wrong.
In New Zealand today, Prime Minister John Key apologized to DotCom for the spying conducted against him by the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB).
The United States has accused DotCom of criminal copyright violations and in January New Zealand police raided his home and arrested him. Just ahead of the raid, the GCSB began collecting intelligence against DotCom to see if he posed any danger to the police who would later swoop in by helicopter to arrest him.

How to find right device drivers for Windows PC
Many times, we are frustrated when our computers break down and when we have to re-install our operating system (OS) from scratch. It is even problematic when we have no original media (CD/DVD) containing device drivers for our system. But with many people trying to help eachother, there are hundreds of websites which offers download of various device drivers. While some provide free download, some website charge nominal fee for the download. Beside third party download sites, the original manufacturers usually provide all up-to-date device drivers from their official outlet.

Solved: Default port 80 used by other Application in Windows 8
If you have upgraded from previous Windows version to the latest Microsoft's Windows 8, you may not probably be able to get your local server get to work.
When you try to start Apache, you will get error saying the port 80 is being used by other applications. After trying to dig into so many queries, I found that the World Wide Web Publishing in Windows 8 service is using that default server port 80.
Therefore, open your "Services" window and disable that WWW service. After disabling that service, Apache server in local server package like XAMPP or AMPPS works flawlessly.

How to clean your website infected with Malware
If Google detects that your site has been compromised, Google will tell you about it in Webmaster Tools (to ensure that you're notified quickly, you can have your Message Center messages forwarded to your email account). If the hacker inserted malware into your site, Google also identify your site as infected in our search results to protect other users. If your site has been hacked or infected with malware, you should act quickly to repair the damage. Google recommends reviewing the recommendations provided by the organization antiphishing.org.
Whatever your platform or type of infection, Google recommends the following steps:
It's extremely important that you take action to prevent your site from infecting others and to prevent hackers from further abusing the system.
- Take your site down immediately. It's extremely important that you take action to prevent your site from infecting others.
- Contact your web hoster. If the attack affects other sites they host, they may already be taking steps to address the problem.
- Change the passwords for all users and all accounts (for example, FTP access, administrator account, content management system authoring accounts). Check your users: It's possible that the hacker created one or more new accounts. Password guidelines.
If you have access to your server, Google recommends configuring it to return a 503 status code. Taking your site offline is better than using robots.txt to prevent it from being crawled.
